Raku Spa is proud to offer Lycon Hard Wax to our customers. Using only the finest resins, natural ingredients and aromatherapy oils, very elastic and pliable, effective, gentle and long-lasting results. leaving skin smooth

and soft to the touch.

 

​We are offering a less painful treatment than traditional hot strip wax.  This gentle, low-temperature wax adheres only to the hair, not the skin, resulting in a comfortable and effective hair removal experience.

 

The result is smooth, hair-free skin with a reduced risk of irritation compared to traditional waxing methods. Regular Lycon waxing appointments can lead to slower hair regrowth over time.

Wax Containdication

  •  Sun and tanning beds: Do not use a tanning bed for 48 hours before and after your visit, and avoid direct sunlight on treated areas.

  • You should not use swimming pools or hot tubs for 48 hours after waxing.

  • Saunas and exercise are also not recommended during this time. You should not use any skincare products with chemical additives during this time.

  • Exfoliate the treated skin (once a week, depending on skin type). This makes the skin supple.

  • We offer waxing for teenagers aged 16 and over.

  • Children's skin is very sensitive and should not be treated with warm or hot wax.

  • If skin irritation occurs after more than 48 hours, you should consult your doctor.

Hygiene during waxing in Raku Spa

  • Hygiene during waxing is very important to us, which is why: We do not recycle wax.

  • With us, you can be assured that the wax is used exclusively for you; filtering is not an issue for us.

  • Our equipment and surfaces are constantly professionally cleaned and disinfected. We use disposable spatulas and always wear gloves.

Hair removal tips

  • The hair must be approximately 5 mm long.

  • Waxing must be repeated after 4 to 6 weeks.

  • If your skin is red, irritated, or damaged (such as with sunburn), waxing is not possible.

  • Areas of skin with larger moles or birthmarks must be avoided during waxing. Waxing for men: on the back or chest/armpits and arms.

  • We do not wax the intimate area. Skin reaction after waxing: Depending on your skin's sensitivity, small red dots may appear after waxing.

  • These appear immediately after waxing/sugaring and disappear on their own after a few hours. This is a normal skin reaction.
